Who's behind it

Earned Today is built and run by Kasey Luft. When you request early access, Kasey is the one who reads it and texts you back. If something goes wrong, Kasey is the one who fixes it. There is no support queue between you and the person responsible for the software.

Why this exists

Residential contractors get paid by e-transfer, and e-transfers have daily limits. A $12,000 final against a $3,000 limit turns into four payments over a week, and the follow-up, the matching, and the bookkeeping all land on whoever does the books on Sunday night. Usually nobody has that job, so it doesn't get done until the invoice is thirty days old. Earned Today is the follow-up person most shops don't have.

How we work

• We never touch your money. Your customer pays you directly, into your bank account, the same way they do now. We are not a payment processor and we never hold funds.
• QuickBooks stays the source of truth. We read your invoices and write payments back. We never create or edit an invoice, and we never ask you to change how you work.
• We never guess. A payment is only recorded once we have confirmed it from the Interac notification. If it doesn't match cleanly, we text you and ask.
• Your customer only ever sees your name. Every page, text, and email goes out under your business, not ours.
